4 Frustrating

The beach appears to be quite rugged, perhaps it would be more enjoyable to take a dip at El Nido beach while taking a stroll.

2 Very poor

This particular shoreline hardly qualifies as a beach, as it is mostly covered in corals with only a small patch of sand that is littered with rocks and unsuitable for sitting. Moreover, the distance between the sea and the narrow bar of sand is approximately 40 meters, and the path is obstructed by corals, rendering it impassable. Furthermore, the sea level is only about 20 centimeters, making it impossible to swim over the corals.

10 Exceptional

The beach is conveniently located within walking distance from El Nido town proper. We chose to stay near the Balete tree in front of the cemetery, which turned out to be a great choice for swimming. Unlike the rocky parts of Caalan beach, the beach area in front of the cemetery is perfect for taking a dip in the crystal clear water.

2 Very poor

The shoreline in question is not quite what one would typically consider a beach. Rather, it is characterized by an abundance of large rocks with only a small amount of sand present. The area also appears to be somewhat unkempt and unclean.
