The beach boasts a rugged coastline that is constantly being battered by hard waves, resulting in a stunning display of nature's power. However, since the 2020 earthquakes, the entire stretch from Obispo to Pelicano has undergone some erosion and has become somewhat murky. Despite these changes, it remains a fantastic spot to witness the waves and bask in the refreshing breeze.

An Incredible Hiking Adventure Awaits at the Beach! It's important to come prepared with plenty of water as the forest can be quite dry. The best times to visit are in the early morning or evening, as the midday sun can be scorching. As a local, I've found that there may be some toxic waste at the start of the hike, such as toilet paper and trash, due to the beach being unprotected. It's important to be cautious and avoid touching any trees or surfaces to avoid encountering this waste. Unfortunately, this is a common issue that detracts from the beauty of the sunset, which is truly breathtaking. I would not recommend visiting at night due to safety concerns. Overall, this is an excellent hiking experience that is well worth the visit!

Absolutely stunning! This tranquil and secluded beach was a true gem. We had an amazing time soaking up the warm waters and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere with very few people around. It was a serene and rejuvenating experience, and we were even lucky enough to witness pelicans hunting for fish.

I visited this beach during Winter Solstice 2019 and it has quickly become my top pick for beaches on the South Coast, located west of Ponce. This stunning and secluded spot on the Caribbean Sea is the epitome of a picture-perfect Caribbean beach. I give it a 5-star rating. However, it's important to note that parking at the end of Rt 333 is limited and there are no restroom facilities available. Please remember to take your trash with you and leave only footprints behind.
