I recently visited Beregovoy in July 2020 and had such a wonderful time that I felt compelled to write a review. Spoiler alert: the boarding house is excellent in every way! The beach is pebbly but clean, with railings that are freshly painted and large awnings that provide ample shade from the sun. The sea is crystal clear, with small pebbles near the shore and stones further out. If you wake up early and head to the breakwater, you might even spot some different fish. The staff at Beregovoy are friendly and the animators, especially Nikita, are great with children. We stayed in a brand new log cottage that was situated on a steep mountain slope in a pine forest, which provided a lovely scent of pine needles. To reach the beach, we had to climb down 180 steps each time, providing a good cardio workout. There are also sports facilities available, including a football, volleyball, and basketball court, as well as a horizontal bar and bars. The food was delicious and served buffet-style. The only thing I missed was the availability of mussels, rapans, and red mullet, which were only available at a restaurant on the waterfront. Overall, I would give Beregovoy a perfect score of 5 out of 5 and plan to return next year.
