I would give this place negative stars if I could. I strongly advise against staying here. Our experience was absolutely terrible. Our room was broken into and our engagement ring was stolen. We strongly suspect that the staff members were involved, as there were no other guests at the resort during our stay. What's more, there were no signs of forced entry into our room, and it was locked when we returned. This indicates that the thief had a key to access our room. When we reported the incident, we received no assistance, and the so-called security guard refused to acknowledge us or address the situation. Due to this incident, we decided to cut our stay short and only stayed for one night instead of the planned two. The managers were of no help the next morning when we spoke to them. They claimed there was nothing they could do and showed no remorse for the situation. In fact, they seemed perplexed as to why we were leaving. We had just gotten engaged 72 hours prior to our ring being stolen. It was an absolutely dreadful and terrifying experience. If you are planning a trip to St. Lucia, I strongly urge you not to stay here. Instead, consider staying at Ti Kaye resort.

We ended up staying at this beach for a night in June 2023 due to our flight being canceled. It's difficult to fully assess a hotel based on just one night. Our room was clean, although it did have a slightly outdated feel. Unfortunately, we couldn't provide any feedback on the food as the restaurant was already closed when we arrived, and we left before breakfast service began.

The sunsets at this beach are absolutely amazing. Although the stairs leading up to the rooms can be quite tiring, overall, our stay was fantastic. The views from the hotel are breathtaking. It's worth noting that the airport is approximately an hour away from the hotel. While room service is not available, you can easily order food from the restaurant downstairs. I highly recommend trying the conch fritters. It's important to mention that the hotel can only be reached by a small ferry that takes you to the entrance of the bay. If you plan on staying out late, it's advisable to make arrangements with the ferry man for transportation to and from the hotel.

We spent one night here before leaving the island, after staying at other hotels in Rodney Bay. The headline: Avoid! There were a few positives: the ferry ride was quick and hassle-free, and the hotel check-in staff were accommodating. However, our experience at Doolittles restaurant was disappointing. It took them 40 minutes to bring us two coffees and 90 minutes for two small, overpriced breakfasts, even though there were only a few other people in the restaurant. The staff seemed uninterested and overall, it was a very poor experience. Instead, we recommend walking to The Villa restaurant, which is approximately a 10-minute walk away. They have a 5-star hotel restaurant with attentive staff, and the prices are even lower than at Doolittles! The rooms were clean, but they looked old and in need of renovation. Even with all the lights on during the day, it was still quite dark. However, the management seemed to have made some improvements, as the air conditioning worked well and the shower had hot water and good pressure. The pool was more like a small pond (it would be funny if it weren't so sad), and the beach was tiny, with only around 8 worn-out sun chairs. If you're reading this, please save your money and stay somewhere else - you'll be glad you did! Margiot Bay may have been lovely in the 80s, but it's not a good representation of it now. It's worth mentioning that the owner of Margiot Beach Club - Dive Resort has a concerning habit of publicly posting people's passport numbers in response to negative TripAdvisor reviews. Let's hope I don't become the next victim of this.

I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews from previous customers as I frequently travel and have visited numerous resorts. However, upon our arrival, I was thoroughly unimpressed with the hotel. We had to climb an excessive amount of stairs and the view from our room was not what we had anticipated. Moreover, the room did not meet our cleanliness standards and we felt uncomfortable staying there. I did express my concerns to the hotel management, who promptly addressed the issue by relocating us to a different room the following day. The new room was superior in every aspect, boasting a view that we could truly appreciate. There were fewer stairs to climb and the cleanliness was significantly improved. The televisions were incredibly small and served little purpose, while the lighting was not ideal. My wife had to utilize the patio mirror for her makeup and hair. On this side of the bay, the hotel's restaurant is the sole option, requiring a ferry ride to access other dining choices. Overall, the hotel possesses a charming and secluded ambiance, with friendly staff and fantastic drinks.
