Cala Bonita

We took a taxi from Talamanca to this beach, and the restaurant was very pricey. We ordered their paella, which was good, but it wasn't worth the price. When the bill came, we noticed an extra €40 had been added. When I questioned it, I was told it was for sun beds we hadn't used. Instead of refunding the €40, the restaurant said we had to pay a new total of €110, and we're still waiting for a refund. We ended up paying €260 for their mistake. I asked if they could book us a taxi, but they said they would 'try' - the waitress never even picked up the phone, so we had to walk back to the hotel. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

A total tourist trap and the service is abysmal. We had a reservation for twelve people, but due to transportation issues, a few of us were late. We tried to explain this to the staff and apologize, but instead, they threatened to take our deposit of forty dollars per person and close the kitchen. When we called in our orders, the staff were snippy, impolite and unhelpful. The food was alright, but the service was so bad it ruined the experience. They kept taking away half-full glasses to make us buy more drinks. For the prices they charge, one would expect far better service. It's a real shame, as the beach is gorgeous, yet they squander the opportunity.

What a terrible find. Not in the usual tourist spots, but what a dismal setting with a horrible menu. The staff were terrible, and Tony did the bare minimum to make sure our party of 9 got home. Absolutely not returning, 0/10.

This beach near Roca Llisa is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Even though they were about to close, the staff were kind enough to sell me a can of sparkling water with a few ice cubes and a slice of lemon – all in a paper cup for take away. It cost 3.50 euros, but I was so thirsty I didn't mind. Just be aware that they only accept cash, as their card machine was already closed for the day. If you plan on having a bite to eat, make sure you bring a big wallet or a powerful credit card, as there is only one restaurant on the beach. You can check out the menu on the blackboard. Also, be prepared to find some free-spirited people taking a dip in the sea further away.

Cala Bonita is worth the effort to reach. The food is always delicious. If you take a stroll to the left, you'll be rewarded with a stunning view and the opportunity to take a dip in the bay.
