This gorgeous beach is nestled away in a Baranco, and can be reached via the old Gomera airfield. It's a great experience for those with a good alpine background, and the return journey is slightly shorter if you take the western rock climb. It's a must-see spot and you'll have it all to yourself.

If you're looking for a beach day that's a bit of a challenge, then this is the place for you! The long trek can be quite a workout, and with no shade, it can be a bit of a scorcher. We followed the directions but had to turn back part way through - it was a close call getting back to the car! If you're not up for a bit of an adventure, then you'd be better off choosing another beach.
