This town is truly horrible. The smell of urine lingers in the air and there are cockroaches scurrying around. It's not just the locals who visit here, there are a lot of Eastern European tourists, which isn't a bad thing in itself as I'm Eastern European myself. However, the town is a miserable place to be. On top of that, there's a sewage problem.

This location is great for those who live nearby. It has light sand with pebbles, making it a nice little stony beach. There is also a kid's playground for children between 1 and 10 years old, making it perfect for families with young kids. All in all, it's a small beach, but it packs a great punch.

This spot is a beautiful little volcanic black sand beach, with easy access and very well-made walkways around and leading to it. It's the perfect spot for a sunset stroll or a run.

Playa Las Galgas is a great option if you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautiful spot. It has light sand with pebbles, and it's usually not crowded. The absence of bars, beds, and other amenities is actually a plus, as it's nice to escape the hustle and bustle of more popular beaches. We stayed in an AirBnB up the hill and came to this beach for a few weeks in a row - it was always pleasant and clean. Swimming is easy, but I recommend bringing water shoes, and be mindful of the two big rocks on each side - the tide is more powerful there. Families with small children were also frequent visitors, and it seemed like the perfect spot for them. So, if you're looking for a tranquil and picturesque beach, this is the place for you. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere, then Los Christianos or Las Americas may be more suitable.
