The adventurous hike from Lomo de Las Bodegas to Playa de Ijuana is a challenge that is not to be taken lightly. Even with GPS support, the route can be tricky to navigate, with some sections requiring you to use your hands. Paths, if present, are narrow, so it's best to be a hiking pro with proper footwear. Don't forget to bring water and sunscreen for the journey. The way back might be a bit easier, but the reward is worth the effort. Those who make the trek will be rewarded with an unforgettable experience, even if the bay isn't ideal for swimming due to the strong current and waves. The hike is marked as difficult in the hiking guide, and you may have to make your way through some undergrowth, so it's wise to wear long pants.

Not worth the effort - a long, arduous walk with no reward. When we arrived, we were met with a shoreline of jagged rocks and strong currents. It was a hazardous and strenuous undertaking, leaving us with scraped and bloodied legs, and sore knees. If you're considering going, think twice - it's not worth the risk.

The waves and currents can be strong here. Swimmers, kayakers, and other beach-goers should take caution. Unfortunately, there have been many incidents of people getting into trouble before they even reach the shore, so it's important to be aware of boats in the area.
