We had the pleasure of spending a bit more than a week at a beachfront apartment in April. It was a very nice, clean beach, wide and long with stunning views in both directions. The North of Spain was a bit cooler and windier than the more popular South, but it was more interesting with its diverse landscapes, delicious food, and charming villages. On some days it was quite windy and the sand blew in our faces, while other days were tranquil and even warm for April. We weren't able to swim due to the chill, but the beach was great for walks in the morning or afternoon. Although dogs are officially not allowed, in the off-season most people had their dogs with them. It was great for our Bulldog to have some fun at the beach, and the beach remained spotless clean as everyone cleaned up after their pets and didn't leave any trash behind.
