Black flag in 2024😭😭 Look in newspapers, this year among the 6 worst. A receding beach. There is less and less sand, thanks to the expansion of the port of Madrid this will be one of the beaches that will disappear and our grandchildren will not see it. It won't take many years to disappear. Family and quiet beach, it is usually clean, until they open the gola (l'albufera) when they feel like it. On the other hand, this year they have taken into account the color blind, adding a symbol to the flag so that they can interpret what flag it is, but now comes the funny thing, what they have not taken into account is the nearsighted, they have reduced the number so much of lifeguard posts and they are so distant that if you have the bad luck to be in the middle you won't see it without glasses. The beach is unattended, I was stung by a jellyfish and I had to walk a long way to what I thought was a lifeguard post with a giant flag with a white cross, when I arrived it turned out to be a Sueca town hall stand where they distributed leaflets, I ended up taking the car and going to Valencia to be attended to.
