It is a fabulous cove of stones. It is also busy with fishermen so it is quite reliable. The bad thing is that you need a mat if you want to lie down. I do not recommend swimming if you do not know the coast and the currents well. Being an area of rocks, you don't know where the current or waves can push you. In addition, there are remains of metals left over from mining and port facilities. It is accessed from the main road through a small dirt gorge with a slope and no support elements. So if you have reduced mobility I do not recommend it. Nor do I advise you if you have pets or nervous children who do not obey. All the best,

As of 07-11-2024 the cove is closed, fenced at the entrance due to construction, it would have been good to know before traveling 500km for the dog to bathe.

The stones mean that you can't even walk to take a bath, that you end up with a bad sprain or that your dog gets hurt. We came with our dog to spend the morning on the beach, and we spent 30 minutes sitting on some rocks. If you have dogs, better look for other beaches that are worth it.
