The beach was a huge disappointment. The water was extremely dirty and unfit for swimming. It was a waste of money to even consider going there.

Our family was excited to visit this beach with our young children, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Firstly, we were surprised to find that credit cards were not accepted and the nearest ATM was quite a distance away. Additionally, the entry fee of 8.- per person seemed steep for what was offered. The lake itself was not well-maintained, with long grass that reached our legs while swimming. We were also disappointed to learn that shirts were required at the beach bar and that chairs were not allowed, even when the area was empty. Some of the staff were unfriendly and seemed uptight, which detracted from the relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for. Overall, we felt that the beach bar was trying too hard to be exclusive and upscale, which didn't fit with the laid-back vibe of Melide. We would have appreciated a more relaxed approach that allowed our children to play freely.
