The footpath leading from the beach where the fishermen are (which can be easily identified by the abundance of canoes) begins with a cement staircase and quickly leads into the jungle area. The heat, sweat, and terrain can make it feel like a crusade for conquerors. I recommend bringing just enough shade and plenty of hydration since there are no vendors or stalls selling anything. Bringing chairs, coolers, or beach games could make the journey more challenging, especially for young children or those with limited mobility. The hike takes about 30 minutes at a good pace, and appropriate footwear is a must (no flip flops). There is a road that leads to the top of the beach by vehicle, but it still requires a walk. We didn't take this route, but we did see a 4x4 arrive. However, another van got stuck on the road. The only downside we found was the amount of trash lying around. We assume most of it arrives by sea since the beach is rarely visited, but we can't say for sure.

It's an incredible spot, but it would be great if visitors could bring their trash with them and contribute to keeping the beach tidy.

July Beach is a hidden gem that requires a 15-minute hike to access, but it's definitely worth it. The beach is peaceful and unpopulated, with crystal-clear waters and natural pools that are perfect for swimming. I highly recommend visiting this stunning spot, but be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and remember to pack out all of your trash.
