The ocean is crystal clear and we had the opportunity to swim alongside the fish. Despite the beach being crowded, it never feels cramped due to the expansive shoreline and the water being deep enough to swim comfortably. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent, as well as equipment for sea biking, canoeing and windsurfing. The sand is stunning, although there were some traces of pollution caused by visitors. We were informed by locals that the municipality had shut down businesses in the area the previous year, leaving us curious about what changes will occur in the future.

Bolayır beach, once a natural wonder that we adored three years ago, has been tragically destroyed by our own negligence. It's a shame that some people can't seem to respect the beauty of this place, and instead leave their garbage lying around. During our visit in August 2022, we were only able to stay one night with our caravan due to the overwhelming presence of mosquitoes, reeds, and dogs attracted to the refuse. Sleep was nearly impossible. In my opinion, the businesses that were previously available provided excellent services at reasonable prices, including keeping the area clean, providing food and drink, and offering amenities like water, electricity, WC, umbrellas, and sunbeds. It's a shame that the municipality had to demolish them. Even more disappointing was the fact that the garbage collection service was unreliable, with trash not being picked up on schedule. It's my hope that we can all learn to take better care of our environment and preserve its natural beauty for future generations.

Unfortunately, the beach lacks proper management as there are no trash cans available. Despite the stunning beauty of the sea and beach, it seems to be undervalued and neglected. The area is filled with garbage and urgent action is required to address this issue.

You don't have to travel all the way from Izmir to Antalya to enjoy a beautiful beach. This one is clean and has a wide stretch of sand. It's perfect for families with children, and the beach umbrellas and loungers are reasonably priced. Plus, it's only an hour away from Tekirdağ.
