The majority of the shoreline at Lara Beach is monopolized by resorts, which is unfortunate. However, there is a small section of the beach that remains accessible to the general public, and I am grateful for that. Unfortunately, the beach itself is quite littered with cigarette butts and other debris, and it doesn't seem like the cleaning crew does enough to maintain it. Perhaps if visitors took it upon themselves to dispose of their own trash, the beach would be in better condition. Additionally, it would be a welcome improvement if the local authorities placed more garbage bins along the beach. Despite these issues, overall, it's a pleasant spot to spend some time.
