I was robbed at gunpoint coming up from the beach back to our car. 4 men robbed us and stole our wallets, phones, wedding rings, and OUR CAR. They left us stranded here. Avoid this beach.

Praia do Itaguacu

In my opinion, this is the second-best beach I've visited, right after Fome Beach. It's peaceful and perfect for swimming. I highly recommend it—100% clear water. There are places to eat and drink, and the best part is you can bring your towel and relax on the sand, which I really enjoyed.
