Virgin Gouda island - all beaches

We just got back from our first trip to Virgin Gorda, where we stayed at Mango Bay, and I can honestly say that I have never had a more relaxing vacation in my entire life. We are already looking forward to going back to Mango Bay! The resort is located on the most peaceful and picturesque beach, offering an incredible view of other islands in the distance. We chose the oceanfront villa, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made! The villa was spacious, clean, and modern, equipped with everything you could possibly need – there was even a grill outside and an outdoor shower! The resort provided paddle boards, kayaks, floats, and snorkeling gear, which was not only convenient but also a lot of fun! The snorkeling was fantastic, and the turquoise water was perfect for simply floating and relaxing all day long! Ashley, the manager, and all the staff we interacted with were an absolute pleasure! They were incredibly responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. I cannot speak highly enough of Mango Bay, and we are eagerly counting down the days until we can return!

We discovered Oil Nut Bay by chance and it turned out to be a fantastic hidden treasure. Lily showed us around and we are considering renting a place here soon!

This place is overrated. The boulders are an eyesore and make me wonder why anyone would want to visit this beach. The little cave areas are cramped and claustrophobic, not to mention the smell of saltwater and seaweed is nauseating. We saw nothing but crabs, sea urchins, and tropical fish, which are hardly worth the time and effort to get here. I wish we had left this island sooner.

We stayed at this beach for a few nights and found it to have a small shop for supplies, a swimming pool, and an outdoor BBQ with entertainment on weekends. The showers and toilets were clean, and there was access to water and electric shore power. Jetski rentals were available, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit challenging, and the ocean side could get windy with sudden gusts around the rocks. However, there were helpful shore hands available to assist with this natural occurrence.

My spouse and I, along with our dear companions, marked a birthday week at Baraka Point. We were truly pampered, treated to exceptional culinary delights, and hosted with the utmost grace! It may sound cliché, but it's undeniably true! The vistas are stunning, the lodgings are incredibly cozy and aesthetically pleasing, and the cuisine and the team are truly exceptional! Whether you seek excursions to neighboring islands, fishing, snorkeling, or diving, the staff will coordinate it all for you. And if you desire a serene yet utterly fantastic retreat, Baraka Point is the perfect choice!
