Varvara - all beaches

Veleka beach is a truly one-of-a-kind destination in Bulgaria, with its golden sand adding to its allure.

The beach is quite large, but it tends to get crowded. It's a great spot for building sandcastles and enjoying snorkeling and water sports. However, I gave it a score of 3 due to the lack of cleanliness - there is a lot of rubbish scattered along the beach. I had to remove plastic from the sea at least 4 times. More bins should be provided to help keep the beach clean. Unfortunately, the "life guards" are not very friendly and can be quite obnoxious, especially the older ones. I wouldn't trust them to save someone in an emergency. They have a tendency to shout aggressively at young children for no apparent reason, which is unacceptable. If the sea conditions are rough and inflatables or going too far out are not allowed, there should be clear signposts in multiple languages to inform visitors.

The beach was great, very peaceful and clean, and the water was fantastic. They provide accommodations for everyone and there are also beachside bars available.

The beach is too crowded and there are too many buildings, making it difficult to find parking. However, if you visit in late September, you will truly have a pleasant experience at the beach.

The beach is ideal for all visitors, offering a serene and stunning environment. Additionally, the beach boasts light, fine pebbles that add to its charm.

This beach is one of the best spots to visit on the Black Sea coast. The best part is that it's open to the public for free, so anyone can enjoy its beauty.
