This beach in HR is quite well-known, but it does tend to get quite crowded. If you arrive later in the day, finding a parking spot can be a bit of a challenge. During our visit in August 2022, we paid 130 HRK for all-day parking. However, you don't need to worry about paying for an umbrella since there are plenty of trees close to the beach where you can find shade.
This public beach boasts a charming pebble shoreline, enveloped by the cool shade of towering pine trees. You'll find a plethora of cafes, restaurants, and other amenities to make your visit comfortable. However, be prepared for a lively atmosphere as this popular destination attracts a sizeable crowd.
The shoreline may be petite, yet the aqua hue of the water is simply breathtaking and resembles a pristine swimming pool. Visitors can indulge in some refreshments at the cozy coffee bars and restaurants available on the premises. However, reaching this paradise requires a climb of over a hundred stairs, but the view from the top is worth every step.
What a stunning location! The sandy shores and crystal-clear waters are a sight to behold. It's almost as if the beach was crafted by the gods themselves. The gentle sound of waves crashing onto the shore is truly music to the ears. It's a shame that such a picturesque place is often overrun by tourists and their obnoxious behavior. But if you can look past the crowds, this beach is a true gem.
This charming cove is a sight to behold, with a natural rock formation dividing the beach into two parts, the northern section being slightly smaller. Even in the early hours, the beach can get quite crowded, but the stunning water color is worth the effort. Visitors will be delighted to find free showers available, and a promenade that leads to the famous Punta Rata rock. The best way to access the beach is by parking in the designated lot and walking down. The road leading to the beach is busy and lacks spots to move aside, making it difficult to navigate. It is worth noting that all services are located in Punta Rata, which is only a five-minute walk away.
