This was my first camp when I was a teenager, and I believe it was the year they first opened it, in 1998. The camp is quite basic, with a small pool. The service and food are decent. The beach isn't great, but it's perfect for snorkeling. The cabins come with bathrooms.
Unfortunately, this beach recently experienced a fire and is currently closed with no indication of when it will reopen.
There are numerous hidden beaches scattered between the bustling Jibacoa public beach and the resort zone. Countless secluded spots await exploration, so be sure to take a leisurely stroll from one to the next, or at least part of the way. Additionally, there are several campismos in the area, providing a unique experience for nature lovers. These beaches offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy some peaceful solitude, with many coral reefs to explore as well. Don't forget to pack your snorkeling gear for an unforgettable underwater adventure!
The beach is quite nice, although it does have some rocks. It's not too crowded, making it a great spot to relax with family or friends. There is parking available and rental houses nearby.
