Purple Turtle Beach

The food at the beach restaurant wasn't terrible, but it didn't quite match up to the quality of the more affordable local eateries. For half the price, you can enjoy bigger portions and additional sides elsewhere. Although the restaurant is conveniently located on the beach and the staff is friendly, I've had more delicious meals at other places for a fraction of the cost.

There is a fantastic beach bar and restaurant located next to the Indian River in Portsmouth, Dominica. The space is large with open air and sea breezes, offering beautiful views. The food and service are top-notch, with Cherry and her staff always providing a friendly smile. They have a full bar with cold beers and great music. The location is convenient, near the mini-van station for affordable transportation to Roseau and Calibishie. Additionally, they offer free WiFi. Be sure to visit and mention that David from New Orleans recommended it!

Ah, the beach after a hurricane. It's like a before-and-after photo, except the "after" is a soggy mess. But fear not, my beach-loving friends, for this particular stretch of sand will surely rise from the wreckage like a phoenix from the ashes. Just give it time. And maybe bring some extra towels.
