Latest reviews on Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes's beaches

Plage Du Sougey
8 Sjoerdinator

You can choose to relax in either the shade or the sun, as both options are available. The beach is sandy, safe, and well-maintained. The property itself is very clean and presentable. A lifeguard is stationed near the water for added safety. The entrance fee is 2.50 euros for adults and 1 euro for children. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the water. Additionally, there are facilities for toilets and dressing rooms. You can also purchase small snacks and beverages. If you visit during the right season, you might even find some fruit trees on your way down to the beach!

Plage municipale Sevrier
10 XJ92

Pristine, transparent waters. Secure, marked swimming zones. Ideal for paddle boarding. Plan to arrive by mid-morning since it becomes crowded after 2 PM.

Plage de Tourronde
10 Edward Reeves

This beach is absolutely fantastic! It offers convenient shade, restroom facilities, and a generous amount of lake space.

Plage Saint-Jorioz
8 Oscar Radomir

The beach is really pleasant, especially on September 9th when there is no admission fee. It has sandy shores followed by pebbles, and there's also a spacious grassy area with plenty of trees. Additionally, there are convenient free restroom facilities available.

Plage de la Brune
10 Jamie Bax

The scenery at this location is truly breathtaking. It is a stunning destination. The only downside is that finding parking in the vicinity can be quite challenging, but that is to be expected in a popular tourist spot.

Plage Municipale de Talloires
10 Lorelei Evans

This is our favorite spot by the lake so far! We spent the entire day here. Despite it being a Saturday, we had no trouble finding enough space for all 10 of us. There are plenty of trees providing shade if needed. The kids were constantly entertained with diving boards, a water slide, a volleyball court, a paddling pool, and table tennis. We were able to rent life vests for our less confident swimmers from the kayak rental place, and there were multiple lifeguards on duty. The snack bar offers simple snacks like hotdogs, chips, and pizza, as well as cold drinks. We had an amazing time.
