Latest reviews on Guerlac'h's beaches

Plage des Sables Blancs
10 Landon Jorvik

This beach is absolutely beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance of Huttopia Douarnenez, the campsite we stayed at. It's about a 10-minute walk down either the steep, winding roads or the 54 stairs, though it's definitely easier to get there by foot than it is to make your way back up. While there are a few local bars (tabac), there aren't any shops nearby, so make sure you're prepared if you plan on spending the day there. The sand is cleaned on a regular basis and the water is crystal clear. We visited during the off-season when schools were back in session, so it was fairly quiet. However, I could see it getting quite crowded during the holidays.

Plage de Kervel
8 S. K.

This is a great beach, but be aware of sand fleas.

Phare Du Milier
10 Zephyr Hart

The breathtaking view speaks for itself, as captured in the stunning photographs.

Plage Saint-Jean
8 Landon Mitchell

This beach is quite pleasant, located along the GR34. The only downside is that it gets crowded quickly when the sun comes out!

Plage de Sainte-Anne
10 Mark Ellis

The beach is quite spacious and not overly crowded. However, it's advisable to check the tides beforehand as it's not enjoyable to be on dry sand and have to walk 300m to reach the water and an additional 100m to find an even surface.

Plage des Dames
8 Harold M.

This beach, located near the town, is small but offers access to a stunningly blue sea! With a clear blue sky, it's almost like being in the Mediterranean! The region is full of delightful surprises!
