Latest reviews on Kermabec's beaches

Plage de Pors Carn

This beach is located between Saint Guenolé and La Torche and is prohibited for swimming except on the Saint Guenolé side. On the other side, there is no surveillance, strong currents, and presence of baïnes, so it is reserved for kitesurfing. The beach is vast with moor, previous dunes, and sand. It is a wild and unspoiled place. At low tide, it has a width of around half a kilometer of fine sand, perfect for morning walks. The foreshore is wide and full of curiosity, and the rocky parts are an incredible biotope that the ocean reveals in the morning. There is an important colony of common terns, making it a favorite beach for many. The sunsets are divine!

This beach is absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful I've ever been to. The sand is incredibly light and has a subtle glimmer from the quartz, which adds a touch of sparkle when the sun hits it. The water is crystal clear and has a gorgeous turquoise hue, although it remains refreshingly cool even during the peak of summer. That's where its amazing color comes from, naturally. Whenever I visit the Atlantic, I always make sure to bring my 2mm shorty, and it proves to be very handy here. The beach has a gentle slope, making it perfect for swimming and engaging in water sports like windsurfing.

Plage de Tronoen

This beach is great for surfing, but be aware that parking can be limited on busy days. However, there is an additional parking area at the entrance. Just be careful as the lot can be quite muddy and you may get stuck.

The waves at this beach are fantastic - they're sizable and strong, yet still manageable for young children.
