Latest reviews on Ille-et-Vilaine's beaches

Plage du Prieure
10 Aurora Lefevre

This beach is small and cozy, and there are swimming pools to the left. It's a great spot to let your dog run free during this season. The park is conveniently located just behind the beach. The scenery is beautiful and well-maintained with plenty of flowers.

Plage de Rochebonne
10 Trick Vermeerlo.

This beach is great for families.

Plage du Mihinic
10 Landon JONES

This beach is a lovely, peaceful spot perfect for relaxing and listening to the soothing sound of the waves. You can easily walk along the coastline to reach the intra muros area. Don't forget to take a deep breath of the refreshing Marin Malouin air. However, be cautious of the seagulls as they are quite greedy and may try to rummage through your food bags while you're swimming.

Plage de Cancale

The walk along the promenade to the lighthouse and the oyster and seafood stalls was quite enjoyable.

Plage Du Bechet
10 VAL 42

The walk around the castle Hotel was delightful, offering stunning views.

Plage des Bas Sablons
6 Marco Rossi

This beach stands out from others in the area due to its fewer crowds, giving it a more authentic feel. It's only a 20-minute walk from the center of Saint Malo, making it easily accessible. I was amazed to see people swimming in the ocean even in October, and it's no wonder they slather on the beurre (butter) to keep warm.
