This beach in southern France may not be the most unique, but it's certainly worth a visit if you're in the area or looking for a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Along the promenade, there are several quaint cafes and restaurants to choose from, but be warned that finding a seat during lunchtime can be a challenge if you're only looking for drinks. During our visit, we encountered a large crowd and were turned away from a couple of bars when we declined menus. Eventually, we found a seat, but it wasn't as well-shaded as the dining tables. However, we were pleasantly surprised when a nearby restaurant generously offered us a free litre carafe of chilled water - a much-needed respite from the heat.
We found this beach to be the most exceptional one in the vicinity, despite having explored several others in the area. The water is consistently crystal clear, with the occasional fish swimming around, and although the shoreline is mostly rocky, it is still quite pleasant. However, there are no facilities, lifeguards or showers available.

I really enjoy this beach. It's just a quick hike from the parking lot to get there. If you head to the far right (east), you'll find the gay/nudist section. The water is crystal clear, so it might be a good idea to bring a mask. Also, there isn't much shade, so an umbrella would come in handy.
