Latest reviews on Hauru's beaches

Hilton Moorea

This resort is by far the best we have ever stayed at. The location is absolutely stunning and the over-water bungalows offer breathtaking views that are truly awesome. However, what sets this place apart is the exceptional level of service. We encountered no problems whatsoever during our week-long stay, and everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly and lovely. It was a truly positive experience from start to finish. I must commend the staff for their faultless service. They took excellent care of us and made this vacation the best I have ever had. It was just so nice.

Plage des tipaniers

To get to the beach, just ask the staff at Tipaniers Hotel and they'll point you towards the public beach on the right. There's no need to pay anything to access it. If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a kayak for 8 euros to explore the bay and see some rays and sharks - it's truly an exceptional experience that you won't want to miss.

Hauru Beach

We decided to hit the beach for some snorkeling and swimming, since it was the closest to our tender dock and easy to locate - only a 10-minute taxi ride towards Sunset Beach. It definitely lived up to our expectations! When we arrived around 9 in the morning, there were only four people snorkeling and the beach was practically empty. However, it got busier as more people arrived off the ship, since it was the most convenient and accessible option. We even had the pleasure of hearing three locals singing while we were there. If you walk just five minutes away from the beach, you'll find a small shopping and restaurant area, as well as a few other hotels. We spotted a couple of sting rays and the coral reef was nice, with plenty of fish. While it wasn't the most spectacular beach we've ever seen, it was definitely worth the visit!

Haapiti Beach

We were absolutely amazed by how incredible this beach was! Snorkeling with the stingrays and sharks was an absolute highlight for us! Our tour guide was fantastic to chat with, had incredible stories to share, and provided us with a wealth of information about the island. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Moorea! We are already planning our return!

Plage de Ta'ahiamanu

The beach in Moorea is the most beautiful one I've seen. Moreover, it's easily accessible, making it a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy the sun and sand.

The beach is open to the public and entry is free. However, it should be noted that the area was previously fenced off but now access is granted. Overall, the beach offers a pleasant experience for visitors.
