This beach is the smaller sibling of the busiest pier during the summer months. From June to October, you can unwind on a blanket and go for a swim. The beach offers stunning views of the lake, Kressbronner Bay, and the mountains. Just behind it, there is a grassy area for those who prefer a more comfortable setting, as well as a playground for children.
The beach is great with plenty of shaded and sunny areas. The food is reasonably priced and the potatoes with tzatziki are a must-try. The changing rooms and bathrooms are well-maintained. Though there's an entrance fee, it's quite affordable. It's advisable to park a little further away and use the parking app instead of struggling to find a spot right in front.
The swimming pool at the beach was perfect for kids, complete with a fun water slide. The grassy area nearby was a great spot to relax and unwind. If you need some shade, umbrellas and sunbeds are available for rent. Unfortunately, the beach and lake were a bit disappointing due to the rocky and dirty conditions.
The slide was incredibly enjoyable! Our family of four paid €10 for the entire day, but we spent almost two hours repeatedly going down the slide until we were exhausted and content. Despite the crowd, there was no significant line for the slide as everyone eagerly flung themselves down. The cafe on-site had delicious food at a fair price. Our morning at this beach was undoubtedly one of the best parts of our 16-day vacation. We had a blast!
