Ammoopi - all beaches

This delightful sandy beach boasts crystal clear waters that beckon visitors to take a dip and cool off. It's a perfect spot for families to spend quality time together, with plenty of space to play and relax. The tranquility of this small beach is sure to leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Unfortunately, my photography skills are lacking, so I couldn't capture the true beauty of this beach. However, it's the ideal spot for spending an entire day lounging in the sun. The water is crystal clear, allowing you to see your toes and even spot some fish swimming by without the need for goggles - I've attached a video as proof! Although the unpaved road leading to the beach can be a bit of a hassle, it's definitely worth the journey as this is arguably the best beach on the island and a must-visit destination.

This beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters that are sure to take your breath away. However, the only downside to this paradise is the presence of local men who insist on charging for the use of sunshades. If you choose not to pay, they can become quite insistent and may even ask you to vacate the area. It's truly a shame that such a gorgeous location is marred by the actions of a few individuals.

Was the beach a beautiful shade of blue or more of a turquoise color? We decided to walk from Pigadia to Amoopi, and surprisingly, it was doable. As we made our way up, we enjoyed a lovely view of the town. The walk turned out to be shorter than we had anticipated. Unfortunately, Amoopi lacks shops or a central area. To return to the city, it's advisable to check the bus schedules to avoid any disappointments. Overall, it seems that public transportation options are quite limited.

There is a lovely sandy beach located near Arkassa, which happens to be the only beach on the island that offers a Beachvolley Court. The beach restaurant is quite cool and refreshing. The waves are perfect for either jumping or learning to surf. Sunbeds and showers are available, as well as free parking. It's a beach that young people can truly enjoy and have fun at.
