In October, we spent time in Rhodes and found ourselves at The South Castle nearly every day for lunch. The brother and sister duo who manage the place are exceptional hosts. The food is fantastic, with the burgers made by their mother being the highlight. It's incredibly relaxing to sit and watch the lizards on the walls or take in the endless sea views. We will definitely return on our next trip to Rhodes.
To begin, my companions and I have a predilection for pebbled shores, and thus, this particular beach did not quite meet our standards. The sandy expanse was quite congested, with a steep price tag of 15 euros for a mere two sun beds and an umbrella. Despite these drawbacks, the crystalline water was a delight to swim in, and the vista of the charming Lindos town was truly breathtaking.
The fish at this beach was indescribably amazing. The staff provided excellent attention and service throughout my visit. I highly recommend trying the fish, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
We were fortunate enough to secure a booking for an apartment that was located right on this exquisite beach. The overall cleanliness of the beach is commendable, with its soft sand and occasional debris that will not cause any inconvenience. For a mere 5 Euros per person, you can rent comfortable sunbeds and parasols that are conveniently located at the water's edge. The beach is relatively peaceful, providing stunning panoramic views and a charming little beach bar. For those who are driving, it is worth noting that during peak season, the small car park may fill up quickly. However, there are ample parking options located 100 meters away on the road. The water is exceptionally transparent and shallow, making it an ideal spot for children to play. Snorkeling is also a delightful activity around the rocks. All in all, this beach is undoubtedly one of the finest in the area.
