This beautiful beach boasts crystal-clear waters that are perfect for swimming and frolicking in the sun. The shade provided by the trees is a welcome respite from the heat, and the restaurant offers a spectacular view of the surrounding scenery. All in all, this is a delightful spot to spend a relaxing day soaking up the sun and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
The beach is quite pleasant, however, the water does not meet the standards of cleanliness due to the presence of large vessels in the vicinity.
While it may not be the top (pebble) beach on the island, it is certainly larger than Agia Anna and boasts easy access to crystal-clear water, as well as some natural shade provided by caves and a tree. The real highlight, however, is the stunning sunset that can be enjoyed thanks to its ideal westerly orientation. For those with children, there's even an ancient harbor installation on the right where they can jump off and have some fun. And if you're feeling adventurous, there's even a second beach that can be reached by swimming.
Upon arrival, the sight is truly awe-inspiring: a genuine lagoon with calm, shallow waters that are sheltered from the wind and waves. A handful of boats are anchored nearby, adding to the picturesque scenery. However, the actual beach is somewhat haphazard, and not particularly pleasurable. While the journey to reach this location is certainly enjoyable, when compared to the other superb beaches on the island, it's difficult to recommend.
This island's beach is simply phenomenal! Although there is a brief 10-minute hike to get there, the breathtaking view is worth every step. And don't forget to indulge in a delightful meal at the top-notch tavern.
