Telendos island - all beaches

This beach is a small and peaceful spot with only a few sun chairs and umbrellas available for a reasonable price. Even during the summer, it's not crowded, and it's the only beach on Telendos where you can catch the sun until it sets. The waves can be a bit bigger due to the wind coming from the open sea, but there are rocks in the water that make it perfect for diving. There is less seagrass here than at other beaches on Telendos. The stairs down to the beach are made of concrete, but it may not be suitable for handicapped individuals.

Although the location and shoreline are stunning, the experience is somewhat tainted by the dilapidated and unclean plastic sun loungers. The elderly gentleman in charge demands €5 for each one, yet fails to provide any proof of licensing or give a receipt. Additionally, there are no indications that payment is required, and they still manage to snap photos of visitors.

This unspoiled stretch of sand lacks any man-made amenities, but its raw beauty is undeniable. The sparse tree cover provides minimal respite from the sun's rays, so it's wise to bring along protective footwear for the rocky seabed. Despite the occasional presence of watercraft, the bay's tranquil waters make it a worthwhile destination for beachgoers seeking a more authentic seaside experience.

This beach is an absolute treat! Although it may be a bit small, it offers a unique charm for those who appreciate a touch of ruggedness and the opportunity to perch on the rocks. The aroma of tea is quite potent and the sounds of rebetiko can be heard drifting from one village to the next. Overall, a delightful experience!
