Potamos beach

It's the best beach in Gavdos, with soft yellow sand and crystal-clear water. You can get there by boat or by taking a path from Amphelos that takes about 45 minutes to walk. The path isn't too difficult, but it can be a bit tiring, which is why even during high season, there are very few people there. If you decide to visit, make sure to bring enough water, wear good shoes (not flip-flops), and keep in mind that the way there is downhill, but the way back is uphill. Welcome to paradise!

This beach is without a doubt one of the most exceptional ones I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, and I have had the opportunity to explore many throughout Greece. The sand is a beautiful golden hue, and the water is so clear that you can see straight to the bottom. The beach is also home to some truly magnificent ancient cedar trees that add to the natural beauty of the area. It's no wonder that the mayor of the island promotes this as an ideal camping spot that can accommodate a large number of guests. When you visit, there's no need to worry about anything as the community offers a sense of freedom and relaxation that is second to none. Just bring along a positive attitude and don't forget to respect the environment. Remember, respect is a two-way street, and you'll find that you'll receive it in return. If you need to stock up on supplies, you'll be pleased to know that there are two mini markets nearby. There are also two decent cafe/restaurants that offer shower and laundry facilities. However, it's worth noting that these places may only be open from the middle of June onwards, so it's a good idea to double-check before you arrive. If you're looking for solitude, it's best to visit before June. If you're in the mood for some company, the best time to visit is between June and the beginning of July. And if you're after a more wild and adventurous experience, then the ideal time to visit is from the middle of July until the beginning of September.

Korfos Beach

This shoreline boasts pristine, transparent waters that are simply breathtaking. Additionally, a charming tavern serving delectable cuisine is situated nearby. For those seeking adventure, the hiking trail to Tripiti begins at this very beach. Overall, this is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for natural beauty and delicious food.
