Ammoudi beach

To be honest, this beach is quite small with most of the space being occupied by cafes. The strip of sand available is also limited. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for €10. The water is decent, but Almyros beach is far superior. However, this beach does have the advantage of being closer to some great restaurants.

During our trip around the northeastern part of the island, we made a stop at this beach during the off-season. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had the entire place to ourselves. The concrete stairway leading to the beach was easy to navigate, although it was somewhat obscured from the parking lot. The beach itself was clean and the water was crystal clear, with a breathtaking view that left us in awe.

This beach location boasts top-notch facilities without the exorbitant price tag typically associated with luxury resorts. It's perfect for a laid-back getaway lasting three to four days. To make the most of your stay, consider booking bed and breakfast accommodations and exploring the local dining scene. Renting a car is recommended for maximum flexibility.

St. Nicolas Bay beach

We opted for this resort hotel to celebrate our grand wedding day. Hailing from Germany, we didn't have the chance to visit venues beforehand. Relying on the positive feedback on Google, we were pleasantly surprised to find it to be the most stunning wedding experience we and our guests have ever encountered. Alex, the hotel manager, and his team exhibited exceptional professionalism in orchestrating the wedding festivities and accommodating our every wish. Every aspect was meticulously arranged. The scenery was breathtaking, the cuisine exquisite, and the entire wedding itinerary unforgettable. It has been ages since we encountered such an outstanding price-performance ratio. Therefore, we highly recommend this resort hotel as the ultimate choice for a flawless Greek wedding on Crete!

This family-friendly resort boasts a picturesque beach surrounded by lush trees, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Moreover, the resort offers a convenient app that allows you to order refreshing drinks right to your personal beach umbrella. What more could you desire for a perfect beach getaway?

This location is a hidden gem, with minimal tourist activity, and a vibrant local community. Ample parking is available, and there are a few bushes for those who prefer not to venture into the ocean. The water is breathtakingly stunning and invites you to indulge in its splendor. In the words of the Terminator, I'll be back to this picturesque beach.
