We had the beach practically all to ourselves, which made it possible for us to fully appreciate the peaceful ambiance. The water was so clear, and the beach was incredibly tidy. It's definitely a hidden treasure that is worth a visit in Guadeloupe.
This beach is one of our favorites on the entire island! The sand is amazingly soft and golden, with picturesque palm trees and plenty of space to spread out. The parking can be crowded, like most beaches in Guadeloupe. The waves can be very large, which my kids absolutely loved. If you go just past the waves, not far from the shore at all, you can enjoy a peaceful swim. My kids had a great time using boogie boards, and there were other kids there who were wave skimming. There are bathrooms available and water for rinsing off. We even spotted the house from the show Death in Paradise. We had drinks at the restaurant, and they were very good. It was such a wonderful day! The restaurant does play loud music on the beach, but we didn't mind. If you prefer a quieter experience, there is plenty of space on this beach to find a more secluded spot.
The beach is clean and well-maintained, with fine brown sand that adds to its natural beauty.
