Latest reviews on Lamma island's beaches

Hung Shing Yeh Beach
10 Lila Dewi

When I visited the beach, there weren't many people around. It's a great spot to unwind and recharge. Plus, it's well-maintained and tidy. You can easily walk to the beach from Yung Shue Wan Pier in about 15 minutes.

Lamma Power Station Beach
8 Helen Hana

The beach is a lovely, secluded spot just a ten-minute walk from the Yung Shue Wan Ferry Pier. The sand is a gorgeous golden color, perfect for sunbathing and building sandcastles. It's a popular spot for evening parties, so you might find people having barbecues and fires. If you're into water activities, it's a great spot for paddling. Dogs are welcome, and the water is usually clean. On one side, you have a view of the Power Station, and on the other, you can take in the stunning landscapes of Lamma. Keep in mind that there are no facilities around, so come prepared.

Sham Wan Beach
10 Danielle Devereaux

This beach is absolutely stunning. It's usually quite empty, but this year it's been closed since April 4th for turtles to lay their eggs. Normally, the beach is closed from June to October, but this year it's been extended to October. Unfortunately, you won't be able to access the beach at all. It's about a 15-minute walk from the nearest restroom.
