Latest reviews on Vernazzola's beaches

Spiaggia di Bogliasco
10 Sky Blaze

The food is of good quality and reasonably priced. The location is superb, offering a fantastic view of Bogliasco and the beach. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially towards children. There are some mosquitos, but the staff provides candles to keep them at bay.

Bagni St. nazaro

The staff at this beach were fantastic - incredibly helpful and friendly. Despite arriving at 9am, we weren't able to check in until 3pm, but the staff kindly allowed us to store our luggage in a secure area. Overall, a great experience with wonderful service.

Sotto La Chiesa

This beach, which is accessible by a staircase, is small and surrounded by rocks. It's located very close to the Bogliasco station and offers a charming place to unwind and relax.

Spiaggia di Boccadasse

The beach is primarily composed of large grey pebbles and pieces of driftwood. Unfortunately, some areas are littered, including discarded face masks. If you plan to visit, be sure to bring something padded to sit or lie on, as it’s essential. Beach shoes or flip-flops are also highly recommended. There is a small body of water that leads out to the wider sea. While the water near the beach is calm, standing is challenging due to the medium to very large, slippery stones. Close to the shore, we encountered a lot of small rubbish and floating plastics, which was unpleasant. The best experience was swimming beyond the rocks, where the surface rubbish cleared and the sea floor returned to sand. The cove itself is charming and picturesque, with a fantastic gelato shop and some eateries. Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend this beach and would look for a cleaner option next time.

Boccadasse Beach

This petite beach boasts a picturesque panorama that surrounds it. However, the jagged rocks that line the shore caused discomfort to my feet.

Spiaggia San Rocco II

The beach is lovely and offers amenities such as umbrella rentals, private changing rooms with locks, and shower facilities. Additionally, parking is available at a reasonable price, which is a major advantage in the area where it's usually tough to find a spot to park.
