The beach is very relaxing and there are also food trucks nearby that sell excellent food.
This beachside eatery was a major disappointment. The server seemed inexperienced and unable to fulfill our requests. The menu was limited, and when we attempted to order certain items, we were informed that they were no longer available. This left us feeling frustrated and confused as to why they would still have those dishes listed on their menu. The food we did receive was lukewarm and unappetizing, and to make matters worse, the parmesan cheese they brought to the table was moldy. Based on our experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. You'd be better off grabbing a meal at a fast food chain like McDonald's.
The shore was inundated with a throng of people, and litter was being washed up by the waves. Additionally, the water appeared to be unclean. As we strolled along the coastline towards the west, we came across two massive rock formations flanking a narrow stream, seemingly erected to safeguard the beach from being washed away during torrential downpours. Beyond these obstacles, there was a relatively secluded spot (although situated in the midst of the bustling beach) where only a handful of families were present. While it was an improvement, it still did not warrant a rating of more than three stars.
The beach was truly remarkable. The scenery left me in awe. The sea was absolutely stunning, with a sunset that was incredibly beautiful. The city had a serene atmosphere, and the harbor with the ships added to its grandeur. Genoa is a lovely city that I thoroughly enjoyed. The beach, with its clean and well-maintained black sand, was impressive.
