Latest reviews on Ognina's beaches

Cala Rossa Beach
8 Kellan Thorne

While it may not be the most exceptional beach (don't expect anything like the Maldives here...), it does offer a fantastic opportunity for a final dive during your visit to Syracuse. Don't forget to bring your towels, as there are convenient fresh water showers available on-site!

Spiaggia Diana nel Forte
8 Rina Teca

The beach in Ortigia and its surrounding area is a one-of-a-kind and pleasant spot for swimming. However, it tends to get quite crowded with rocks during the warmer months. Despite that, it's still worth checking out if you happen to be in the heat. The sunbathing area on the rocks and the water were also relatively clean, which is quite uncommon for beaches in Italy/Sicily.

Fontane Bianche

The beach is quite expensive and unfortunately, the ocean is infested with seaweed.

Marchesa di Cassibile

We were left in awe by the sheer beauty of this beach in Sicily. The stunning cliffs, sparkling sea, and majestic mountains all combine to create a truly breathtaking view. Despite the €10 parking fee (which was reasonable for October), the added bonus of receiving a garbage bag with our receipt was a thoughtful touch. It's clear that the National Park takes great care in maintaining the cleanliness of this beach, and we were grateful to be able to enjoy its pristine beauty.

Arenella Beach

The beach is quite lovely, albeit a bit crowded. Unfortunately, there is some litter on the sand, despite the presence of numerous trash bins. However, the water is refreshing and clear, making it a great spot for a dip.

Spiaggia del Minareto
10 Michael Rossi

This beach is a hidden gem, teeming with fish and boasting an incredible shoreline.
