The Feniglia beach

What a discovery! We stumbled upon a secluded paradise while traveling from Rome to Pisa. It's a perfect spot to take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean.

Cala Galera beach
10 Jasen Cruz

This stunning beach boasts crystal clear waters that are almost always calm, making it the perfect spot for families with young children. The free parking is a convenient bonus, and the view of the Feniglia and the fortress of Porto Ercole adds to the natural beauty of the area. The gradual slope of the sea bed is ideal for children to safely play in the water, and it's even better than the Adriatic. Out of the Giannella and Feniglia beaches, this one is the preferred choice for families with two children.

Feniglia Beach

Wow, this beach in Tuscany, Italy is absolutely stunning.

Spiaggia Giannella
6 Lily Caruso

The water appeared unclean, likely due to the wind. However, the beach is pleasantly uncrowded, allowing for ample personal space. Additionally, it's pet-friendly, so you can bring your dog along. Just remember to have coins on hand for parking at the blue meters. Most parking lots lack attendants, unless you opt for one of the lidi. We attempted to pay with a card, but unfortunately, the machine was out of order. Be sure to have the exact change ready, as the cost for non-resident parking is €7 for the entire day.

Mar Morto beach
10 Jasen Cruz

This shoreline boasts a serene ambiance with its crystal-clear turquoise waters and rocky terrain. The journey to reach this hidden gem is an adventure in itself, as it requires a 20-minute trek from the last parking spot on the hill. If you're a fan of rocky beaches, this is the perfect spot for you. Highly recommended for those seeking a unique and unforgettable beach experience.
