Spiaggia del Borghetto

This is a great place to visit by the lake. While it's labeled as a "beach," it's actually quite narrow. However, you can still relax by the water, get some exercise, have a picnic, snap some photos, and admire the scenery. The parking is conveniently located right next to the lake, and there are plenty of dining and lodging options, as well as camping opportunities, in the surrounding area.

This is an excellent destination for families with plenty of activities for children. Additionally, it's not overly touristy, so you won't feel like you're being taken advantage of.

We took a scenic lakeside walk from Montefiascone to Marta, passing a pier and marina, and eventually arrived at the lakefront of Marta with its bars, restaurants, and market. On a particularly beautiful day, we decided to keep going and ended up at the foot of a long, steep staircase. Curiosity led us further to a beach called La Cava which was sadly abandoned. We could see the town of Capodimonte and the Bisentina island in the distance, but it wasn't clear if we could access the town from the beach. After a short walk, we couldn't find a way back to Marta, so we returned the way we came, leaving with a thousand questions and a tinge of disappointment. We hope to go back and explore further.

The owner of the hotel is an incredibly kind lady who makes you feel right at home, which was a unique experience for me in a hotel setting. The view from nearly every room is fantastic, as the hotel is situated right by the lake. I would highly recommend this place. The pool was lovely, the hotel was excellent, and we had an amazing stay here.
