Lido - all beaches

This coastline nestled in the heart of Lido is a true gem for beach-goers. The beach boasts an idyllic location, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The serene atmosphere and crystal-clear waters make it an ideal spot for soaking up the sun and enjoying a refreshing dip in the sea. It's no wonder this beach is highly regarded by visitors, as it truly is a great place to unwind and recharge.

The water at the beach is pleasant, and there is a beautiful pine forest nearby, although it is crowded with campsites. However, it is quite challenging to reach the beach by horse due to the heavy traffic in Jesolano, even on weekdays.

While not a must-visit for every traveler in Venice, taking the time to make the trip (about an hour by public transport from S. Marco) is definitely worth it. You'll be rewarded with a stunning view of the Adriatic, untouched by tourists or beach clubs, just pure nature, soft sand, and windswept dunes. Take a leisurely stroll all the way south, and out onto the jetty at the end for the full experience.

The sandy beach is incredibly beautiful. If you have a larger group, you can rent loungers for 25 euros per day, and I believe the price is even more affordable. Additionally, there is a beach bar where you can enjoy a variety of dishes and drinks. In my opinion, the overall value for money is satisfactory.

It's disappointing that there are sections where you have to pay to sit.

This beach is a true paradise for sun-seekers. The cost of renting an umbrella and sun chairs for the entire day is quite reasonable. However, it's important to bring along a pair of sandals or flip-flops as the sand can become extremely hot. At the water's edge, you can safely leave your footwear without any worry of it being disturbed. The water is simply breathtaking, with its warm and inviting temperature. And for those who prefer to go topless, it's perfectly acceptable here.
