Playa Los Mangos

This beach is truly exceptional! It's not overrun with people, which means you can enjoy the serenity of the ocean without any distractions. The sand is soft and inviting, perfect for sinking your toes into. What's more, it's conveniently located just a 20-minute drive from the heart of Todos Santos. Best of all, it won't cost you a penny to enjoy this slice of paradise.

We had a wonderful and peaceful time at the beach. All we did was sit and appreciate the salty breeze, the soothing sound of the waves, and the sight of families happily strolling on the sandy shore with their kids.

This splendid beach certainly lives up to its name. To reach it, you must walk through a dense, palm tree jungle, which should take no more than 10 minutes. Although it may seem a bit ominous at first, with old three-story palm trees and some lying on the ground, once you reach the halfway point, the sound of the waves crashing and the refreshing ocean breeze will put you at ease. Upon exiting the jungle, you will be greeted by a stunning lagoon and a pristine, half-mile-long beach. However, it's important to be cautious when swimming in the water, as there are strong undercurrents that can be dangerous. Many signs are posted to warn visitors and ensure their safety. Additionally, when parking before entering the palm tree jungle, be sure to remove all personal belongings from your vehicle, as there have been reports of car break-ins when items are left visible. The parking area is approximately 15 minutes away from the beach. To access this hidden gem, take the dirt road located alongside the highway between Todos Santos and Pescadero. Although there are no signs, you can spot the entrance from the freeway due to the palm tree jungle nestled between two hills.

What a gem of a beach! It's like finding a needle in a haystack, except instead of a needle, it's a gorgeous stretch of sand far away from the usual tourist traps. If you're feeling adventurous, hop on an ATV and catch the sunset or simply bask in the waves of the mighty Pacific. Swimming is not for the faint of heart as the waves are so strong, you might as well be in a washing machine. The only way to access this secluded spot is through a dirt road that leads to a small parking area. Don't even think about driving onto the beach unless you have an AWD vehicle, because no one's going to come to your rescue. Based on the remains and other reviews, it seems like this beach is a popular spot for locals to unwind with a fire and some cold brews. Remember to be mindful of the environment and bring a garbage bag for your trash, just like the locals do. It's a small price to pay for enjoying this hidden paradise.
