Latest reviews on El Centenario's beaches

El Coromuel Beach
10 Samantha Valtiera.

We stumbled upon this spot while exploring La Paz from Todos Santos on a beautiful, sunny Tuesday with a temperature of around 75 and a light breeze. There were no crowds and easy parking. It seemed to be a popular spot among the locals, with couples and families enjoying the beach. They provided umbrellas, chairs, and tables, and we ordered some delicious civiche and guacamole with generous portions. The big bottles of Pacifico were quite popular. The staff was very friendly, although they didn't speak much English, which was not a problem. People's radios played a pleasant mix of music in the background. The water was clear and calm, and warmer than the Pacific side. Overall, it was a great place to relax for the afternoon.

Playa El Caimancito

This petite yet charming beach boasts a pristine expanse of ivory sand that's simply delightful. It's conveniently located in close proximity to the town, making it easily accessible. While there aren't any dining options available on the beach, the natural beauty of the surroundings more than makes up for it.

Playa La Concha

This charming beach is conveniently located near the city center and boasts a cozy atmosphere. While the water may be a bit rocky, it adds an adventurous element to your beach experience. It is recommended to bring waterproof footwear to fully enjoy the ocean. Additionally, there is ample parking available across the street and a public restroom located in the nearby resort's restaurant.

Playa Malecon La Paz

This place is really pleasant, although it gets extremely hot during the summer. We visited in late August, and the daytime heat made it difficult to fully enjoy, but since we were on vacation, I didn't want to waste any time. By 9am, I was sweating profusely, I mean completely drenched! There were a few vendors, but not many. The vendors tend to come out more in the evening when it cools down a bit. It's a great place for a leisurely walk and to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, there are bars and eateries conveniently located across the street to enjoy.

Playa La Paz

When you're in La Paz, make sure you don't miss the chance to take a leisurely stroll along the malacone! It's an excellent way to appreciate the stunning views of the city and get a glimpse of the locals. Moreover, the sunset adds an extra touch of beauty to the experience. You'll come across many people enjoying the walk, providing a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the city's atmosphere.
