Odemira - all beaches

The beach is quite difficult to reach and the cleanliness is not up to par. The sheer number of people and animals present can be overwhelming. Overall, it is safe to say that this is the least desirable beach in the Costa Vicentina.

This stunning beach is my absolute favourite spot on the planet. It's a true paradise that I adore. What sets it apart is its peacefulness - it's almost always empty. The southern part of the beach is particularly secluded, with only a couple of couples visiting on any given day. The sand is simply marvellous, too. To reach this hidden gem, you'll need to take a left turn down a dirt road after passing the Monte Carvalhall da Rocha campsite. From there, it's a straight shot of around 500-600 metres. Keep in mind that the cliff is 40 metres high, so you'll want to wear something more substantial than flip-flops. It's also important to check the tides before heading out, as the beach can become completely flooded at times. If you're unsure of the route, consult openstreetmaps for guidance.
