Undoubtedly, this is one of Portugal's finest beaches that never fails to impress with its stunning sunset hues, and it's perfect for surfing and other water activities. Lifeguards are present year-round, but the only downside is the overcrowding during July and August. Apart from that, it's an excellent location!

However, be aware that this destination is highly sought after, which means that it can become quite congested, and the local bar prices may be steep. But fear not, as you can always opt to purchase a refreshing beverage from one of the many local shops and avoid any inconvenience.

For families, this beach is an excellent choice as you can easily rent chairs and access public restrooms. It is undoubtedly one of the best beaches in the region, second only to Tamariz beach in Cascais.
