The waves can be quite sizable and have the potential to pull you in. Swimming is not recommended, but if you're looking to soak up the sun and achieve an even tan, this beach is perfect.

This beach is significantly superior to the southern beach, Praia the Nazare. There are hardly any people, and the ocean and beach are stunningly clean and beautiful.
