Wow, I am absolutely blown away! Without a doubt, this beach has quickly become my top pick. The pristine cleanliness of the beach was remarkable, thanks to the diligent efforts of four kind-hearted individuals who were constantly clearing any litter. The picturesque views were simply breathtaking, and the swimming experience was nothing short of excellent. The lifeguard on duty was incredibly helpful and friendly, although regrettably absent on our second visit. We trekked through the dunes, which admittedly left my legs feeling a bit worn out, but it was worth it. Additionally, the beach is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. While the ice-cream by the parking area was excessively expensive, and there were no restroom facilities readily available, these minor inconveniences did not detract from the overall experience. My children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

The beach is perfect for walking with kids and dogs, and you can easily park and start your walk without having to trudge through sand dunes. However, there is a noticeable issue with litter and the lack of bins, which could use some improvement.

Whenever I find myself in Gqeberha, I always make it a priority to visit the beach. The breathtaking scenery, invigorating sea breeze, and a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk are all it takes to rid me of any lingering Gauteng stress and immerse myself in the laid-back and welcoming coastal atmosphere.

The water is initially very cold, but it becomes pleasant after a few minutes.

The beach is not too crowded, with bins conveniently placed in almost every corner to ensure the sand stays clean. The water is incredibly beautiful and soothing, and surprisingly clear without being filled with sand.
