Pristine beach, transparent waters... It's a wonderful cove to visit and enjoy for the day.

That place near Calafat is a beautiful gem. We had a great time biking here from L'ametlla de mar. The bar serves coffee and drinks, and the sea is crystal clear. Plus, the sandy beach is incredibly pleasant and easy to access.

This spot is definitely one of the best coves I've been to. The sand is soft and the water is crystal clear - you can even spot fish swimming around your feet! Plus, there's a bar right on the beach if you want to grab a drink. It's a really wonderful place to visit.

Platja De l'Alguer

This location is conveniently located just five minutes away from the town centre. It has been awarded a Blue Flag International Award, making it a safe and pleasant place for families with children or those with disabilities. It has a sandy shoreline and is equipped with toilets, showers and life-saving facilities. Plus, it's easy to access and allows you to bring your dog with you.

This lovely cove is a great spot for snorkeling and other activities. On a good day, the water is clear and the beach has a beautiful brown sand. However, on a bad day, the cove can attract a lot of rubbish, plastics, and micro plastics, turning the sea into a 'gloop' of waste and other unpleasant debris. It can be difficult to determine which days are good and which are bad, as sometimes the sea is completely smooth and clear even on windy days, and other times it is full of waves and dead sea grass on still days. Nevertheless, it is worth checking out either way, especially for small children.

This location has been well taken care of for the last two decades and it's still a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy. During the summer season, lifeguards are on duty, and there's even a seasonal bar. You won't have to worry about overcrowding, as there's plenty of room to spread out.
