Not the ideal spot. It's in the city, so you can walk there, but the sand is not very comfortable, and the view isn't extraordinary. The wind was too strong for the season, and the atmosphere isn't particularly serene. There are a few food and merchandise stands, but it's nothing to write home about.
It's not the easiest place to get to at the moment, as they've put a gate up at the entrance. There's no free parking in the area either, so you either have to pay or go somewhere else. I took a panorama from a drone and it looks better than it does in reality.
The beach was clean and peaceful during November, with the golden fine sand adding to the pleasant experience. Despite the lack of people, it was still a nice experience.
Mar Bella beach is a paradise for those who love the outdoors. It has a dedicated naturist beach, as well as a basketball hoop, skateboarding area and ping pong table near the Paseo Maritimo. There's also a children's playground and a volleyball court close to the Bac de Roda breakwater. To top it all off, there's a marine base at the western end of the beach, where a range of sea-related events are held. So, if you're looking for a beach with something for everyone, Mar Bella is the perfect spot!
This spot is a paradise! The water is so clear and the sand is so clean. It's much better than Barcelonetta and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It's the perfect place to spend a day in the sun.
